Overview
We are delighted to have available for sale this absolutely stunning and mint condition Collings 2008 CJ SB (signed by Bill Collings on the soundhole label).
Highly respected by acoustic and electric players alike, Collings are known for their meticulous craftsmanship and for producing some of the absolute finest handmade guitars in existence.
This slope-shouldered dreadnought is a prime example of Collings' magic that its master luthiers in Austin conjour. With rich dynamics and dripping in tone and resonance, this CJ is quite simply the best sounding acoustic that we have ever had the pleasure to play.
It has been recently fitted with LR Baggs' new flagship HiFi Duet Pickup & Microphone Mixing system. This system is non-invasive and is widely regarded as the best acoustic pickup solution on the market.
Utilising a combination of LR Bagg's award-winning HiFi Duet Pickups with their advanced Silo Microphone - we are extremely impressed by this system's studio-grade clarity. Its responsiveness and tonal accuracy is simply phenomenal!
This CJ is in mint condition showing no chips, dings or scratches anywhere - just some extremely light playwear in the lacquer and pickguard. The frets are in excellent condition and show minimal signs of any use.
The original Deluxe Hardshell Case is included, it's in very good condition with just a few scuffs from storage over the years.
Case candy includes the Collings Sticker, Warranty Registration Card and specification sheet.
This CJ weighs in at 2.46kg (5.42lbs).

Shipping: U.K. delivery is charged at £16.50 and is via the Parcelforce Express 24 service. We usually ship the next working day (Mon. - Fri.) after cleared payment. UK delivery only. We can't deliver to P.O. Boxes. In the unlikely event that there is damage to the item you must notify us immediately on the day that you receive it.
Returns: Returns are allowed within 14 days of purchase. Goods must be returned to us in the exact same condition that they were sent in and you must contact us beforehand to authorise a return - no exceptions. The buyer is responsible for the item being safely returned and the return postage costs. The buyer must insure the item to its full value to avoid loss.
