Overview
This is the Custom Deluxe you have been looking for! We are excited to have just taken in this near mint condition EVH 2014 Wolfgang USA Custom Deluxe in a vibrant Vintage Cherry Burst. The flame maple top on display here is a stunner, it really won the wood lottery!
This guitar has come from one of the UK's finest collections, where it has been a case queen for most of its life.
It is presented in truly outstanding condition for a 2014 model, with no chips or dings anywhere; the frets are also immaculate. Expect only some light patina to the lacquer and hardware from natural aging and some limited play over the years.
In short, we think this is the finest condition Wolfgang Custom Deluxe to have hit the market in a long time. The model is now discontinued, so act now to avoid disappointment!
The mahogany neck has a '50s-era profile. Whilst being "full", it is still very comfortable in the hand. This model was the first Wolfgang model to feature a set-neck construction. As a quick note, it features a 25.5" scale length, some online information incorrectly assumes this model has a 24.75" scale (we imagine due to its Gibson-esque format).
With a beautifully sculpted neck heel, Direct Mount Wolfgang Zebra Pickups and a unique control layout (for a Wolfgang), don't miss this chance to own this now rare and highly sought-after EVH model. [Speaking of the controls, we love the addition of the High-friction Bourns pots on the tone controls - very tactile!]
Please see above for full specifications, or get in touch for further information.
The weight of this guitar is 3.66kg (8.07lbs). Please see the photos for all the included case candy.
The original SKB Case (with molded stripes) is included, it has a few external marks/scuffs from storage.
This guitar has come from one of the UK's very finest collections; as such, the case has been numbered "106" in marker pen along the front spine.
