Overview
Fresh in stock is this excellent condition EVH 2017 Wolfgang USA Signature in Ivory. The Signature is the EVH Wolfgang USA model that has it all, fully loaded with Eddie's most up-to-date specs: a blend of Alnico 3 (neck) and Alnico 2 (bridge) Direct Mount Wolfgang pickups, eye bolts and of course the ever-tempting kill switch. If you are after a US-made Signature, here is a really sweet example that will make you feel on Top Of The World!
This guitar has come from one of the UK's finest collections and it has seen only limited play since new. The tremolo cavity and electric control cavity plates still have their plastic films on. Please note that the guitar has a few shallow impressions on the back near the rear eye bolt from strap wear, there's another small impression on the side of the lower bout (see circled close-up pictures), otherwise, just expect some very light playwear. The stainless steel frets are in excellent condition with minor signs of play. In summary, this is a very clean example!
The Quartersawn Maple Neck features a very comfortable Wolfgang Backshape Profile, with its Hand-rubbed Satin Urethane finish, it is a super-fast neck to transition on. We love the thick ebony fretboard featured on this model, as did Eddie! His prevalent use of a Stealth Wolfgang throughout the A Different Kind of Truth tour marked his embrace of ebony fretboards after decades of shredding predominantly on maple.
Loaded with a pair of Direct Mount Wolfgang Zebra Humbuckers, a 12-16" Compound Radius, High & Low-friction potentiometers and an EVH D-Tuna, not only does this Wolfgang showcase superb quality US-made construction, but it's got specs galore.
Please see above for full specifications, or get in touch for further information.
The weight of this guitar is 3.46kg (7.63lbs). Please see the photos for all the case candy, including the EVH Leather Strap.
The original SKB Case (with molded stripes) is included. Please note that it has a few light marks/scuffs from storage.
This guitar has come from one of the UK's very finest collections; as such, the case has been numbered "104" in marker pen along the front spine.
