Fresh in stock at Smokestack is this absolutely mint Fender 2016 Custom Shop Postmodern Telecaster NOS in a very suave Aged Lake Placid Blue.
One check of the spec on this Tele and you'll see that it ticks all the right boxes and then some! Classy looks combined with a killer modern spec make this one not to be missed!
Please note that Fender have advised us this model was a standard Custom Shop production run and therefore it had no Floor Traveller document supplied with it. They gave us a list of the full specification which can be found below.
This guitar has come to us from a collector well-known to Smokestack and it has been looked after incredibly well - it is presented in mint condition. There are very few signs of use on the guitar.
The frets show limited signs of any wear, overall there is minimal evidence of playwear on the guitar. CE & WEEE stickers are still present on the neck plate. For a pre-owned 2016 model this is as clean as you will ever find, it really is immaculate!
Some of the standout features on this Tele include the Quartersawn Maple Neck, Lightweight Ash Body (both finished in nitro), a 9.5-12" Compound Radius Fretboard, Custom Shop Hand-Wound Twisted Tele Pickups and a Greasebucket Tone Circuit. The Greasebucket Circuit is a great addition to have as it rolls off the highs without adding bass.
The one piece maple neck is sculpted with a very comfortable Mid 60's Oval "C" profile and has been spec'd with Fender Logo Vintage-Style tuners.
Case candy includes the Certificate of Authenticity, Owner's Manual, Fender Custom Shop Sticker, Custom Care cards/envelope, Case Key and Hang Tag. The original Custom Shop hardshell case is included - it has a few very light marks externally from storage.
Thanks to the Lightweight Ash Body this Telecaster is a featherweight at just 3.218kg (7.09lbs).
