Overview
This Masterbuilt Dennis Galuszka Stratocaster has blown our minds - it's not every day that you get a Strat built for Abbey Road by one of Fender's finest Master Builders!
This exceptionally rare and unique Zebrawood Stratocaster is one of only four released; built by Dennis for the Abbey Road 2008 Custom Guitar Showcase, this Strat does not mess around bringing serious vibes.
Crafted from an exotic and rare zebrawood, the body and fingerboard give this Strat the most striking aesthetic. This elegant look has been balanced expertly with the 3-ply BWB scratchplate and black headstock face - perfection!
Fender advertised the Abbey Road Stratocasters as having a mahogany body center. The body centers used on these Strats have a light hue so we believe that it is most probably "African white mahogany" (avodire) that Dennis has used here.
This Masterbuilt has come to us from a collector well-known to us at Smokestack Guitars. It is fair to say that it is in generally excellent condition throughout. There are a few minor cosmetic marks in the lacquer on the body. Due to age there is some crazing - this is not really obvious unless you're up close to the guitar (and many consider it desirable!). Because of the pattern of the zebrawood it is also quite hard to notice.
We have highlighted in the final gallery photo a very shallow mark in the lacquer near the scratchplate, this does not jump out at you and you'll only notice it in direct light. There are a couple of other minor surface blemishes like this in the lacquer (even smaller though) we do not think they detract from the overall clean aesthetic condition of the guitar.
Apart from this, the only other thing to note is there is some general playwear on the guitar, mainly on the scratchplate. The back tremolo cavity plate is unmarked as it still has the protective film on. The frets are in excellect condition with lots of life in them and the fretboard is in top condition too.
The case candy includes the Certificate of Authenticity, Abbey Road VIP Badge & Lanyard, Fender Deluxe Vintage Strap, Hang Tag, Fender Custom Shop Sticker, Fender Custom Shop strap, Fender Polishing Cloth etc. The original hardshell case is in excellent condition with just a few minor marks from storage.
This Masterbuilt Strat weighs in at 3.87kg (8.53lbs).

Returns: Returns are allowed within 14 days of purchase. Goods must be returned to us in the exact same condition that they were sent in and you must contact us beforehand to authorise a return - no exceptions. The buyer is responsible for the item being safely returned and the return postage costs. The buyer must insure the item to its full value to avoid loss.
