Overview

For sale is a mint condition Gibson 2024 Les Paul Standard '50s in the lustrous Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish. This highly sought and much lauded '50s recreation model has all the right features in all the right places! 

This particular example has a beautifully figured maple top and a richly textured rosewood fretboard. It also has a lovely selection of mahogany timber for the neck and body, it's a very classy example all round! The weight is 4.30kg / 9.49lb. 

This guitar is in mint condition and is virtually "as new", it even has the plastic film on the scratchguard still. The quality Gibson hard shell case also is also in mint condition.

There is virtually no evidence of any usage so it is being listed as "Open - Never Used" - it really is in immaculate condition throughout. 

It's worth noting that the Standard '50s are now hand-wired (no PCB) with Orange Drop capacitors making for an even more faithful recreation of the iconic '50's Les Paul.

All case candy is present including the Gibson Strap, Gibson dust cloth, Owner's Manual, App Card, Warranty Information, Switch Washer, Plain Truss Rod Cover, Case Keys & Gibson Multi-Tool.

The Les Paul Standard 50s has a solid mahogany body with a maple top and a rounded 50s-style mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays. It's equipped with an ABR-1, the classic-style Tune-O-Matic™ bridge, an aluminum Stop Bar tailpiece, Vintage Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons, and aged gold Top Hat knobs. The calibrated Burstbucker™ 1 (neck) and Burstbucker 2 (bridge) pickups are loaded with Alnico 2 magnets and wired with audio taper potentiometers and Orange Drop® capacitors.
