Overview
This one's a bit of a treat! This striking 25th Anniversary Custom 24 10-Top is finished in a very alluring Sapphire Smokeburst.
It plays like a dream and sounds phenomenal, the 57/08 pickups are superb. As is common with pre-2011 CU24's, the rotary pickup selector switch has been changed to a much more practical 3-way toggle with a coil-split via the push/pull tone control.

To celebrate its 25th Anniversary, PRS is offering the Custom 24 with shadow bird inlays, anniversary headstock eagle, bound rosewood fretboard, 57/08 pickups and a gorgeous 10-top.
25 years of building consistent guitars to extremely high quality standards centered around innovation and constant change has made the PRS Custom 24 a perennial favorite with guitar players. This is the original PRS ”the guitar the company was founded on”, the guitar Paul Reed Smith took to his first trade show in 1985, and the first guitar produced in the PRS factory.
Overall the guitar is in excellent condition for a 2010 model. It does have some playwear and patina commensurate with a guitar that's had some careful use over the years.
Please see the final two photographs, we have highlighted a tiny mark on the left-hand side of the lower bout which is not obvious unless you look close. The second photo shows an area of light swirling on the back of the guitar between the cover plates (you may need to zoom in on the highlighted area).
The only other thing to note would be that the plastic cover plates on the back have some patina as do the gold pickup covers. We can supply a brand new pair of genuine PRS cover plates with the guitar for just £20 (usually £42), however, we don't think it's worth swapping them.
The case candy includes a PRS Sticker (white), Operating Instruction Manual, hang tag, PRS records card, allen key, truss rod tool etc.
The original white PRS 25th Anniversary Hardshell Case is included, this is in good condition but it does have some marks on it from storage.
The weight of this Custom 24 is 3.46kg (7.63lbs).
