Overview
It's not every day that we get a completely one-off PRS Private Stock that has been fully spec'd by Paul Reed Smith himself!
We are really pleased to be able to offer this stunning, mint-condition PRS 2016 Private Stock Periscope #7 McCarty 594 in a mesmerising Teal Nightshade finish.
These extremely collectable Periscope instruments were made as an exclusive series of just 14 unique one-off Private Stocks. Paul was filmed in 2016 during a Periscope livestream, hand-selecting the tonewoods of this very guitar at PRS's legendary Wood Vault.
Search "Selecting Wood for "Periscope Guitars" #6 & #7" on YouTube to see Paul working his voodoo conjuring for this guitar. What resulted is nothing short of the most incredible McCarty 594 that we have ever witnessed! From the most beautiful piece of ziricote that we have ever seen on the Pattern Vintage neck, the figured ebony fretboard & headstock veneer bound in curly maple, to the intensely quilted maple top...this is the 594 at its pinnacle, and it's one that would certainly make Ted McCarty proud!
As the photographs attest, this guitar has been exceptionally well cared for by its owner. It has had only extremely light use since new and we are pleased to report that it is in completely mint condition throughout. Upon thorough inspection we can confirm that there are absolutely no chips, dings or scratches anywhere on the guitar.
As it's from 2016, do expect some extremely light patina and playwear. But as previously mentioned, there are no specific marks to note. The frets are in mint condition with hardly any signs of wear - this 594 has practically been a case queen!
At the weigh-in, it is a comfortable 3.69kg (8.14lbs).
The case candy includes the Private Stock Certificate of Authenticity, PRS sticker, Operating Instructions manual, case key, allen keys and truss rod wrench.
The original Private Stock leather hardshell case is included, with the MODCAT sticker still present on the side. Please note that the case has some light external wear from storage.
This guitar has come from one of the UK's very finest collections; as such, the case has been numbered "72" in marker pen on the front spine, between the two left-most latches (please see case pic).

Shipping: U.K. delivery is charged at £16.50 and is via the Parcelforce Express 24 service. We usually ship the next working day (Mon. - Fri.) after cleared payment. UK delivery only. We can't deliver to P.O. Boxes. In the unlikely event that there is damage to the item you must notify us immediately on the day that you receive it.
Returns: Returns are allowed within 14 days of purchase. Goods must be returned to us in the exact same condition that they were sent in and you must contact us beforehand to authorise a return - no exceptions. The buyer is responsible for the item being safely returned and the return postage costs. The buyer must insure the item to its full value to avoid loss.
