Overview

We are excited to have fresh in this stunning PRS 2023 Wood Library Modern Eagle V 10-Top in an utterly captivating Aquamarine finish.

With an original RRP of £5999 in 2023, if you are after a very special MEV, then look no further than this exquisite Wood Library example in excellent condition!

The tonewood selection here is spectacular, the luthiers over at Stevensville sure know how to craft a belter! The bookmatched curly maple top has loads of character, with a consistent flame figuring throughout. The lustrous Aquamarine finish gives it an appearance of ripples on a surface as you peer into the fathoms...

The figured maple top has been married to an equally characterful one-piece mahogany back; there's some really nice contrasting grain structure running through it. Then we have the Pattern profile neck, crafted from a B-E-A-utiful piece of flame maple. Finished in an ultra-thin satin nitro finish, it's super slick and feels like you're almost playing on open grain. This finish is as non-stick as it gets!

A pair of TCI humbuckers feature as bass and treble pickups with a PRS NS-01 Singlecoil in the middle. Mini-toggle switches allow you to initiate an isolated split of each humbucker to produce a superior singlecoil sound. [An isolated split completely removes one of the coils from the circuit and leaves the 2nd coil fully active; this is as opposed to splitting one of the coils just by grounding, as with a standard coil split].

In addition to this, activating the Push/Pull Tone Knob will bring into play both humbuckers simultaneously, allowing you to use all three pickups at once. Please see the PRS Control Diagram below for a full breakdown of all switching options available - suffice to say, this is a session musician's dream!

This guitar is in excellent condition throughout, with only light signs of playwear that you'd expect with a guitar that's had a commensurate amount of careful play. There are no chips or dings anywhere. On the right side/back of the guitar's waist, there are two small surface blemishes in the lacquer, which are mainly only noticeable if the light hits them. Please see these highlighted in the final two pictures in the gallery. The frets are all in excellent condition, showing minimal signs of any wear/use.

The weight of this guitar is 3.74kg (8.25lbs).

The case candy includes the hang tag, PRS sticker, PRS registration card, case keys, truss rod wrench and allen key, etc.

The original black paisley hardshell case is included. This is in excellent condition with just a few, very light signs of wear from storage.

The control diagram and shipping information are available below. This Wood Library MEV is feature-packed - if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.
