Crafted using the very best PRS timbers with features normally only available in Artist Package and Private Stock ranges - We present to you this very special and mint condition McCarty Wood Library Limited Edition 10-Top in a smouldering Burnt Maple Leaf finish.
With Hand Selected tonewoods, Paua & Gold M.O.P Outlined Inlays plus Hybrid Hardware - this outstandingly tasteful PRS offering is bursting with unique features, it’s hard to know where to begin!
Boasting a very rare gloss and satin lacquer finish (gloss top w/satin back and neck) - this Wood Library Limited Edition is a sight to behold. We particularly love how the contrasting gloss & satin lacquer features on the cutaway, very suave!
This McCarty showcases an absolutely exquisite tonewood selection. The Flame Maple 10-Top is one of the nicest we have ever seen! It’s full of character and depth, especially with the contrasting Burnt Maple Leaf finish drawing it out. Completing the body is a very fine one-piece Hand Selected Mahogany back.
The neck is crafted from a one-piece Hand Selected East Indian Rosewood that is paired with a matching fretboard (10” Radius). The Pattern profile neck carve combined with a satin finish results in a supremely comfortable and fast playing experience.
PRS’ marquetry expertise is on full display here with a breathtaking selection of Paua for the Bird inlays which are beautifully accented in Gold M.O.P outlines. (For more pictures of these oustanding inlays please get in touch).
A pair of 58/15 humbuckers provide the excellent clarity and articulation that they are well known for. They can be coil-tapped via the push/pull tone knob adding further versatility.
Other unique appointments include Phase III Locking Tuners and a PRS Wraparound Stoptail Bridge with Brass Inserts. These brass inserts are located along the front edge of the string slots (where the string begins vibrating) to provide maximum sustain.
Altogether PRS have crafted a package that has resulted in a McCarty that is highly resonant and responsive, we are sure you’re going to love it!
The guitar has seen little use and has practically been a case queen all its life - it is in mint condition with no chips, dents, dings or scratches. As it has had some extremely light play, please allow for a commensurate amount of minor playwear/patina.
The weight on this guitar is very comfortable at 3.44kg (7.58lbs).
All case candy is present including the hang tag, case keys, PRS Sticker, Operating Instruction Manual, Specification Sheet, truss rod tool, allen keys etc.
The original Black Paisley hardshell case is in excellent condition.

Shipping: U.K. delivery is charged at £16.50 and is via the Parcelforce Express 24 service. We usually ship the next working day (Mon. - Fri.) after cleared payment. UK delivery only. We can't deliver to P.O. Boxes. In the unlikely event that there is damage to the item you must notify us immediately on the day that you receive it.
Returns: Returns are allowed within 14 days of purchase. Goods must be returned to us in the exact same condition that they were sent in and you must contact us beforehand to authorise a return - no exceptions. The buyer is responsible for the item being safely returned and the return postage costs. The buyer must insure the item to its full value to avoid loss.
